  • Facial protective visor with 16 notches / cm². Due to its special coating reflections of sunlight and freezing over at temperatures below 0°C are averted 74% light transmission.
  • The perfect fit and optimum hold of the Protos® Integral Arborist make it perfect for work at height, where face protection is indispensable. The hearing and face protection are integrated into the shell of the head protection and thereby prevent snagging on branches and protruding parts. The special design of the Protos® Integral allows the cooling air to flow in from all sides and to escape through the ventilation gate. This ensures that the head does not collapse even during the most strenuous activities. After tiring work the KlimaAIR® Set can be exchanged and washed at 30° C to maintain the hygiene. The guide of the chin strap is designed so that it cannot slip under the hearing protection where it would affect the noise reduction or the wearing comfort. The Protos® Integral Arborist is of course certified according to EN 397 and EN 12492. A SAFE FEELING - IN THE AIR AND OVERHEAD
    • For safety reasons, the outer Protos® shell should be replaced every 5 years (starting from the manufacturing date). This is available separately. For hygiene reasons, we recommend washing the main support pads regularly and replacing them every 2–3 years in case of daily use.

In an environment that requires maximum concentration and attention, the head protection cannot cause any interference, let alone slip out of place. Thanks to its far-reaching neck shell, the head protection fits perfectly even when working in sloping or overhead positions, thus providing a safe hold. Due to the difficulty in getting the hands free at height, the entire modular principle with can be adjusted with only two fingers. Therefore, each element can be regulated at any time. This model is also equipped with a chin strap.
  • The attachment arm is used to mount the hearing protection onto the Protos® Integral. It makes it possible to adjust the height of the hearing protection as well as the fitting pressure. For users who find the standard Protos too tight, or are experiencing issues with the capsule dismounting over time, we recommend purchasing the “oversize” Attachment Arm.
  • Mechanical Prusik with high-efficiency swivel, for tree care

The ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusik allows the user to move around efficiently in a tree using classic Prusik pulley system technique. The friction chain provides precision and fluidity when moving around. The pulley is mounted on sealed ball bearings to allow the slack to be taken up easily. Can be used on either doubled ropes or a single rope, providing great versatility. The lower attachment hole with high-efficiency swivel ensures stable and correct positioning of the mechanical Prusik and optimal rope glide through the device.

    Description

    • Intuitive to use: - technique identical to classic Prusik pulley system - the device locks automatically on the rope once the friction chain extends
    • For efficient movement within the tree: - rope feed is smooth and precise thanks to the release lever, allowing the user great control over his/her movements. Adjusting the pressure on this lever controls the speed of movement - easy to take up slack, thanks to the pulley mounted on sealed ball bearings and the separated and curved side plates - lower attachment hole with high-efficiency swivel ensures stable and correct positioning of the mechanical Prusik and optimal rope glide through the device
    • Versatile: - for use on either doubled ropes or a single rope, thanks to the CHICANE accessory, which offers more friction on the descent, and the KNEE ASCENT assemblies, which facilitate the ascent - upper attachment hole for the rope end when using a doubled rope or for the CHICANE auxiliary braking device when using a single rope. It has a flexible positioning ring that helps keep the connector oriented along its major axis - auxiliary attachment hole for adding a ZILLON lanyard or connecting a second system
    • Durability: - steel construction for improved durability - separated and curved side plates for better wear resistance
    • Rope compatibility: 11.5 to 13 mm diameter
    • ZIGZAG PLUS allows the user to work in compliance with the ANSI Z133 standard

  • The lightweight WILLIAM large-capacity asymmetrical carabiner is made of aluminum. It has a pear shape that is practical for easily connecting multiple items. Its fluid interior design and Keylock system facilitate handling. The WILLIAM carabiner is available in three locking systems: automatic TRIACT-LOCK or BALL-LOCK system, or the manual SCREW-LOCK system. WILLIAM can be connected to the CAPTIV bar to favor positioning of the carabiner along the major axis, to limit the risk of it flipping and to keep it integrated with the device.

    Description

    • Pear shape offers a large capacity and wide opening: - facilitates connection of multiple items - allows Munter hitch use for escape
    • Aluminum carabiner whose light weight reduces the weight of equipment the worker at height needs to carry
    • Easier handling: - fluid interior design limits the risk of having a catch point and facilitates rotation of the carabiner - Keylock system to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner
    • H cross-section: - ensures an improved strength-to-weight ratio - protects markings from abrasion
    • Available in three different locking systems: - TRIACT-LOCK: automatic locking with triple-action gate opening - BALL-LOCK: automatic locking with triple-action gate opening, with lock indicator - SCREW-LOCK: the manual screw-lock with red band provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked
    • Also available in black (TRIACT-LOCK and SCREW-LOCK)

  • Descender with integrated progress-capture pulley for loads up to 250 kg, compatible with 10.5 to 11.5 mm ropes

MAESTRO S is a descender designed for technical rescue operations. It facilitates manipulation of heavy loads, for lowering or hauling, and may be used in both the primary system or in a back-up belay. This versatility allows rescuers to adapt to any situation they may encounter on the rescue scene. The ergonomic handle and integrated brake allow for comfortably controlled descent. Shifting from lowering position to hauling position is immediate, without the need to transfer the load. The integrated progress-capture pulley has a large diameter sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings, ensuring excellent hauling efficiency. The AUTO-LOCK system automatically locks the rope when the handle is not in use. Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. The MAESTRO S descender is compatible with 10.5 to 11.5 mm ropes and allows handling of loads up to 250 kg.
