Our best selling carabiner has been scaled down to create the ultimate accessory connector. Oval carabiners are a technological challenge because of their shape – the load is shared equally between the spine and gate sides of the carabiner, which typically results in lower strength ratings. With our hot forging process, we are able to compensate by shifting material and putting aluminum where it needs to be to reinforce the frame to achieve and impressive 4kN rating. The oval allows for proper orientation and helps to limit load shifting while in use. The Micro Raider is perfect for throwline use, a direct connection from your chest harness to tend a climbing system, mounting a handsaw, and any other non-PPE function you can think of. DESCRIPTION We have grown tired of the same old anodized finishes and have decided to mix things up a bit! Due to the unique finishing process, no two carabiners will have the exact same coloring. By utilizing a precise hot forging process, we are able to achieve the perfect compromise between strength and weight. Although hot forging is a more costly and time consuming process when compared to cold forging, the end results are much more favorable.
